মাধবপুরে শিশু উদ্ধার করতে গিয়ে পুলিশের উপর হামলা

আদালতের নির্দেশে শিশু উদ্ধার করতে গিয়ে পুলিশের উপর হামলার ঘটনা ঘটে।  ঘটনাটি ঘটে গেল ১৫ অক্টোবর হবিগঞ্জের মাধবপুরে। পুলিশের উপর হামলার ঘটনার ধারণকৃত ভিডিও সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে পড়লে মূহুর্তের মধ্যেই তা ভাইরাল হয়ে যায়। এ ঘটনায় পুরো উপজেলায় আলোচনা ,সমালোচনার ঝড় বইছে। 

জানা যায়, মাধবপুর উপজেলার চৌমুহনী ইউনিয়নের গাজীপুর গ্রামের আকিল মিয়ার স্ত্রী রাবেয়া খাতুন তার শিশু সন্তান কে স্বামীর বাড়ি থেকে উদ্ধারের জন্য আদালতে একটি মামলা করেন। আদালত মামলাটি আমলে নিয়ে মাধবপুরর্ থানাকে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার জন্য নির্দেশ প্রদান করেন। আদালতের নির্দের্শে গত ১৫ অক্টোবর এসআই মিজানুর রহমানের নেতৃত্বে একদল পুলিশ গাজীপুর গ্রামের আকিল মিয়ার বাড়িতে গেলে আকিল মিয়ার বোন সোনিয়া সহ কয়েকজন মিলে পুলিশের উপর ছড়াও হয়। এক পর্যায়ে সোনিয়া বেগম পুলিশ কে ঝাড়– দিয়ে পিঠাতে শুরু করে এবং পুলিশের ফাইল ছিনিয়ে নিয়ে যায়

এই ঘটনায় ৪ পুলিশ সদস্য আহত হয়। হামলার ঘটনায় এসআই মিজানুর রহমান বাদি হয়ে মাধবপুর থানায় একটি মামলা করেন। তবে আকিলের পরিবারের দাবি-শিশু উদ্ধার করতে এসে পুলিশ তার বোনের উপর আক্রমন করেছে।  বিষয়টি নিয়ে মাধবপুর উপজেলায় আলোচনা-সমালোচনার ঝড় বইছে।

An incident of attacking police while rescuing a child occurred in Madhabpur, Hobiganj, following a court order. The incident took place on October 15. A video capturing the attack quickly went viral on social media, sparking widespread discussion and criticism across the upazila.

According to reports, Rabeya Khatun, wife of Akil Mia from Gazipur village in Choumuhani Union, filed a case in court to recover her child from her husband’s house. Acting on the court’s directive, a team of police led by SI Mizanur Rahman went to Akil Mia’s house on October 15. Several family members, including Akil Mia’s sister Sonia, allegedly attacked the police. At one point, Sonia Begum reportedly pushed the police and snatched away police files.

Four police officers were injured in the attack. SI Mizanur Rahman filed a case at Madhabpur Police Station regarding the incident. However, Akil’s family claimed that the police had attacked his sister while trying to rescue the child. The incident has sparked a storm of discussion and criticism throughout Madhabpur upazila.
