তাহিরপুরে যাদুকাটা নদীতে মোবাইল কোর্ট অভিযান

সুনামগঞ্জের সীমান্ত নদী যাদুকাটায় বালুমহাল ও মাটি ব্যবস্থাপনা আইন, ২০১০" এর আওতায় জেলা প্রশাসন,  কর্তৃক এ নদীতে মোবাইল কোর্ট পরিচালনা করা হয়। শনিবার (২৫ অক্টোবর) সকালে এ অভিযান পরিচালনা করেন সুনামগঞ্জ জেলা প্রশাসক  এর সহকারী কমিশনার ও এক্সিকিউটিভ ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট মোহাম্মদ সোয়াদ সাত্তার চৌধুরী। মোবাইল কোর্টে সার্বিক সহায়তা করেন তা‌হিরপুর থানার পুলিশ ও নৌপু‌লিশ সদস্যবৃন্দ। 

অভিযান চলাকালীন উ‌ল্লেখ‌যোগ‌্য কোন ধর‌নের অপরাধ কার্যক্রম পরিলক্ষিত না হওয়ায়।এসময় স্থানীয় জনসাধারণ ও শ্রমিকদেরকে নদীর পাড়ের মাটি রক্ষায় সচেতনতামূলক বক্তব্য ও আইন অমান‌্য কর‌লে শা‌স্তির হুঁশিয়া‌রি প্রদান করেন তিনি ।

অভিযানে সার্বিক দিক নির্দেশনা প্রদান করেন  জেলা প্রশাসক  ড. মোহাম্মদ ইলিয়াস মিয়া,অতিরিক্ত  জেলা প্রশাসক সুনজিত কুমার চন্দ,তাহিরপুর উপজেলার নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা ইউএনও, মো: মেহেদী হাসান মানিক,উপজেলার সহকারী কমিশনার ভূমি কর্মকর্তা মো: শাহরুখ ইসলাম শান্তনু।  সহকারী কমিশনার (ভূমি), তাহিরপুর। সুনামগঞ্জ ও তাহিরপুর  উপজেলা প্রশাসন  এরূপ অভিযান অব্যাহত থাকবে বলে ফেইসবুক ওয়ালে নিশ্চিত করেন।

Mobile Court Operation in Jadukata River, Tahirpur

A mobile court operation was conducted on the Jadukata River in Sunamganj’s border area under the Sand and Soil Management Act, 2010. The drive took place on Saturday (October 25) and was led by Mohammad Soad Sattar Chowdhury, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate of the Sunamganj District Administration.

The operation was supported by members of Tahirpur Police Station and the River Police.

No significant illegal activities were found during the operation. However, the Executive Magistrate urged local residents and workers to remain aware of riverbank preservation and warned that strict action would be taken against anyone violating the law.

The overall direction and supervision of the operation were provided by Dr. Mohammad Elias Mia, Deputy Commissioner of Sunamganj, Sunjit Kumar Chand, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Md. Mehedi Hasan Manik, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Tahirpur, and Md. Shahrukh Islam Shantanu, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Tahirpur.

The Sunamganj District Administration and Tahirpur Upazila Administration confirmed through their official Facebook pages that such operations will continue to protect the river and prevent illegal sand extraction.
